Bushfire

There are bad bush fires in South Australia in the Mt Lofty Ranges, homes have been damaged and many people are being evacuated. I can see the smoke and smell the smoke and am concerned for Mumsnetters in the Adelaide Hills/surrounding areas.

I am scared absolutely crapless and wanted to make sure that others were ok.

We are close to city so OK but a few friends and family members have been evacuated.

Thanks. That is good to hear Tallulahbelle. We have had friends and family evacuated and one family has lost their home.

The one "good" thing to come of this is the generosity of the community to help. From horse floats to food to messages left on CFS station doors. I was crying yesterday because of it.
