Terribly sad whatever happened :(

The trouble seems to have come as the vicar disappeared for 2 days after the death.

Apparently the parents did not know the girl was pregnant until she gave birth so presumably they did not have time to call an ambulance until the baby had arrived. All very weird.

I suspect it's just that - she gave birth and had told no one and had no medical care and as soon as the parents knew they called the ambulance but the baby was dead.

Hardly a girl, the daughter is 28.

Yes, strange and seems at best terribly sad, whatever the cause of the baby's death and reasons for concealing his birth.

"Odd little story......."

Very strange choice of words.

It's a very weird story, isn't it. I'm not sure I will want to know what the really story is.

for such a small place Freckleton has had what feels like a disproportionate amount of tragedy in recent years

I have to say I struggled with my choice of words Hakluyt , it is of course terribly sad and tragic for all those involved and I hope that now the police have finished interviewing them they are getting some support .

Just googled it. Murder case recently where a young man set fire to his house and killed four younger siblings. Plane crashed during the war. Very sad history. Probably true of a lot of places.

sorry, yes I live nearby. The house fire a couple of years ago that killed 4 siblings, now this (and of course the wartime plane crash). Just feels like a lot of 'national' tragedy recently for what is a very small place.

Report
fuctifino · 05/12/2014 23:26

Just to clarify, the arsonist was a visitor to the house and wasn't related to the siblings who died.

I think there's more to the vicar story than is being told. Very sad Sad

They may want to DNA test the baby and the family.

Nasty salacious speculation. "My relative reckons it's incest"...........

I thought it odd also. Hasnt the vicar been charged with some kind of sexual crime? Im sure i read that, perhaps in the dm
