What do you think about this being the top UK twitter trend for the last 5 days?

I think it should be #CoalitionMustGo because it's not only Cameron's fault!

I think it should be;
#whohasanybetterideas? now the major reforms needed have mainly been implemented, the recovery the best in Europe e.g. annually expected to be 10 x that of France in 2015, and needs to be built upon, not squandered.

As no one did in 2010, according to the other party manifestos, which were either 'more of the overspending on government/waste same', or too radical e.g. a 31p Flat Rate of tax to help the poor(?), build new homes, pay off the (then) governments £157 bil annual budget deficit/overspend.

Yeah yeah. All good stuff Isitmebut but, at the cost of having yo accommodate 260,000 additional people last year.

But Dave has a plan and he will tell us about it tomorrow and it involves announcing major new cuts in benefit (after the next election -which he will probably lies now as nobody believes a word he says anymore).

You can just hear a stifling yawn from across Britain every time that fantasist opens his mouth.

I hope he remains, we need more cuts. we cant spend more than we have.

oh yes lets have more cuts.
those pesky poor and disabled should learn to just eat dirt

So true samcro. Take away more help and services from disabled people, keep stopping benefits for extremely poor people for spurious reasons. That'll sort out the economy.

I think people should concentrate on their own party and getting them elected - get out and campaign - rather than spend time on a stupid hashtag. But then, these mad trots aren't keen on logic and reason and doing anything of actual use.

I'm rubbing my hands in glee at the thought of MR ED being our next PM . Not

Very well said, Samcro. My husband works in a field that deals with this...I can tell you for a fact the amount of parents going without heating is staggering. They are having to choose food.

Re benefits/welfare, I'm still confused, for years at PMQT I kept hearing they were being slashed by opposition MPs, then they were telling papers at election times they would slash benefits more - then that very nice Ms Rachel Reeves was saying the coalition were spending £12 billion a year more on them than in 2010.

No mention of the 1.8 million new private sector jobs, 85% of them full time, Labour had no clue how to create to help replace those lost prior to 2010?

P.S. WetAugust re immigration figures, that the price of economic success in an EU that voting UKIP will ensure we stay in, rather than have an informed democratic referendum on the subject.

Farage pretended for over a decade UKIP could get us out of the EU and stop immigration; 24 taxpayer funded MEPs and 2 MPs later, I have as much chance of fulfilling that promise as Farage.

One UKIP policy, a 100% failure, that must be a European political record of failure to deliver. lol
