In northern Nigeria.

Really nothing to say.

Thurlow Sat 06-Jul-13 22:01:12

My god. That's awful.

Tiredemma Sat 06-Jul-13 22:03:27

Thats awful.

Why isn't this headline news??

NoComet Sat 06-Jul-13 22:04:00

There are no words sad

notanyanymore Sat 06-Jul-13 22:04:33

It's been headline news on Radio 4 but I can't find it in the Guardian online.

People (!) carried cans of petrol to the school. And doused it.

I genuinely have NO words.

less important than Wimbledon, the rugby and John Prescote on the BBc news ap.

I'm a huge tennis fan, but how can a game be more important than 29 innocent lives taken away deliberately in the name of religion.

Tiredemma Sat 06-Jul-13 22:11:05

Those poor children must have been terrified.

what an awful way to die.

Show me any God or any religion that feels this is justified.

joanofarchitrave Sat 06-Jul-13 22:16:42

This is such a terrible sickness sad

edam Sat 06-Jul-13 22:19:12

Oh my God, that is appalling. The BBC report is so straight and factual but so horrifying. I can't imagine the suffering of those poor parents.

edam Sat 06-Jul-13 22:22:42

info about Boko Haram here Seems they hate 'Western' education (amongst many other things). Enough to kill children for going to school.

BettyCrockerLover Sat 06-Jul-13 22:24:33

Boko Haram were 'founded' in 2002....hmm

SaggyOldClothCatPuss Sat 06-Jul-13 22:31:48

Its not in the news because this is a school in Nigeria. Its not in the good old USA or the UK. They dont count! hmm Never mind that they were someones babies, brothers, sisters, real human people! They are nowhere near as important as a bunch of overpaid sportsmen bashing tennis balls about! Its WIMBLEDON you know! angry

TheMagicKeyCanFuckOff Sat 06-Jul-13 22:33:39

Those poor children. Burnt alive and shot. How could someone do something like that? I can't imagine being told that my children have been killed. They were having a normal school day. And they were killed because of it. It's horrific.

Littleballofhate Sat 06-Jul-13 22:34:34

Those poor babies. Those poor parents. No words to describe my sadness.

Greythorne Sat 06-Jul-13 22:34:40

White children in the US are very important, but not do important that gun reform can actually go through.

Black children in Africa are really not important at all.

In this insane world.

RIP those 29 children.

OnTheNingNangNong Sat 06-Jul-13 22:35:10

cocolepew Sat 06-Jul-13 22:38:25

MissMarplesBloomers Sun 07-Jul-13 08:31:57
