Awwww, that's nice
Brad better get building a shed for him and Maddox to retreat to at the bottom of the garden. 2 Jolie-influenced teens and the woman herself- it's going to be a little fraught in their house in a few years' time.
Well done Ange, I'm on your team.

Of course, I'm sure the Csection was 'an emergency'. It always is.

Another goofy name. It's like a contest to see how outlandish a name you can make up.

'Nouvel'. WTF? It's like that American trend a few years ago of calling girls 'Jolie'. Dumb ass.

And Gwen Stefani's had a boy called Kingston. By caesarian, naturally

AllieBongo Sun 28-May-06 09:40:26

another one who gets on my tit ends.

Shiloh = a spot of shame and tragedy in American history. A civil war battlefield where many, many men lost their lives.

AllieBongo Sun 28-May-06 09:42:37

what a horrible name to give a child...

wanderingstar Sun 28-May-06 10:01:14

FGS it's all ridiculous. Does she not know about Shiloh ? Or maybe they're thinking about that programme on years ago ("The Viginian" ?) where I think the good ole ranch was called Shiloh.
And don't get me started on Nouvel. Should be Nouvelle if they're going down that route.
There, I've wasted a minute's brain space on Brangelina. A minute too much.

thewomanwhothoughtshewasahat Sun 28-May-06 10:08:47

have they been to Kingston? It's won chav awards you know. Surbiton would have been a bit more classy but, well, Surburban. Richmond, Teddington, Twickenham now they're names

WelshBoris Sun 28-May-06 10:09:54

twicky rossendale

YellowFeathers Sun 28-May-06 10:15:07

Is it pronounced Shy-lo?

Its certainly different thats for sure.

Have met a theif called Kingston.

foxinsocks Sun 28-May-06 10:17:14

think it is hebrew for a gift (shiloh) but I thought it was a boy's name (remember seeing it in a name book)

expatinscotland Sun 28-May-06 10:17:53

This is Shiloh:

It is preserved as much as possible as it was the day all those men fell.

The mood even now is respectful and quiet, a very, very beautiful, green spot.

It's from an old Indian name, IIRC

YellowFeathers Sun 28-May-06 10:20:42

Why then being american, would they call their child that.
Unless its a mark of respect?

Do Brad and Ange come from that area?

Why do I care?

WelshBoris Sun 28-May-06 10:21:34

the is also a film called shiloh about an abused beagle

Maybe they named her after that???
