Sorry if this has already been done - couldn't see it though. Look at this - a rarity surely in showbiz. good on her. and non-mental names too!

hulababy Fri 26-May-06 09:37:46

Marina Fri 26-May-06 09:43:14

I hope Ulrika-ka-ka-ka has been chosen as one of the middle names!

very sensible names - I approve
(agree that she is not 31 though)

spidermama Fri 26-May-06 19:25:56

PMSL at Iradoo and Uvavoo.

I'm pleased for them, respectful of her. Am I right in thinking you have to be quite persuasive to be 'allowed' to have twins vaginally?

spidermama Fri 26-May-06 19:30:16

It's worth noting at this point that there probably won't be anyone slagging of these particular names. If, on the other hand, the names were unconventional the snide comments would be rolling in.

I won't lower myself by attempting to redress the balan.

Fuck it maybe I should.

What boooooooooooooring names. Jesus! Poor kids.

You know Spidermama, i would pay a couple of quid to know what names you gave your children!

Twiglett Fri 26-May-06 19:38:53

oh why does it matter HOW they're born, just that they're safe and well

sugarfree Fri 26-May-06 19:42:35

She is 31 in the same way that Geri is 33.

PAH!!
They did their paper rounds in the Himalayas then.

I love the name Nell but was put off using it by my sister chanting 'Smelly Nelly'.Well, that and the fact I didn't have a daughter.

WideWebWitch Fri 26-May-06 19:49:45

I thought that too re Geri. And someone else is etenally 38, I can't remember who. Caprice maybe.

spidermama Fri 26-May-06 19:52:17

Twiglett I think it sends out a great message that a celeb has managed to have twins naturally. Many women aren't even allowed to try. They don't think they have the choice, so perhaps Nancy will educate and inspire and some women, somewhere, will have their choices of birthing methods extended. Excellent.

MN Experience tells me I must now write this ...

The above is in no way meant to advocate one particular birthing method over any other, nor is it designed to reflect on or judge the choices of others.

Twiglett Fri 26-May-06 19:56:11

I'm now suing you for making me feel bad about having 2 sections spidermama

Let's make that a Class Action against spidermama then Twig
I always wanted a VBAC so I really am envious of and pleased for Nancy.

sugarfree Fri 26-May-06 19:57:38

<falls off chair laughing at Caprice thiking she is 29>

MadamePlatypus Fri 26-May-06 22:43:56

I'm always a bit confused about what a 'natural' birth is. My mum thought I was a member of the'natural child birth trust' and that I would be thrown out for having an epidural.

Beauregard Fri 26-May-06 22:47:24

What are they called?server cant get link!

VeniVidiVickiQV Fri 26-May-06 22:48:17
