Poor Katie Holmes

... what mother wasn't weepy in the first few weeks after their babies birth? Better woman than I if they didn't cry, I remember crying my eyes out because I wrote something against the wrong line in my DD's baby record book (one week after birth probably not the best time to do it!)

According to \link{http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006220546,00.html\The Sun} Katie is suffering from the baby blues. I read the article and felt sorry for her, she's whizzing around after Tom and "The Mission Impossible actor has put her on a fitness regime to get her in shape for their wedding this summer"

I'd have killed my DH if he was doing that a month after DD was born!

I cried loads too...the thing is at the point she's at now I'm sure she's wondering why on earth she is living with a Hollywood star. I bet it all seems so irrelevant now and she's walked herself in to a situation where she's living with a aged supremist.

Poor lass. I justhope she has the self esteem to stand up for herself and do what she wants to not what he wants her to. Sadly I don't think thats the case.

I don't think any new mum can understand the overwhelming feeling you have when you have your first child and I'm sure that has alot to do with it.
Like Robin3 said, all this high profile lifestyle and living with one of the worlds most famous men must seem all so irrelevent and unimportant now.
Why on earth would you want or feel the need to fly all around the world days after giving birth and why would you want to be shoved into a fitness regime just because they're getting married. Wouldn't you want to be just sat at home staring at your newborn in slobby clothes?
Surely he has enough money (not enough sense obviously) to postpone the wedding until shes fit and ready. God forbid her walking up the aisle with a baby bulge or carrying an extra stone! She's hardly Mr effin Blobby!

As for him critising anti d's, if she really does have baby blues or PND I think it will be a real test for their relationship wether she gets the help she may need, be it medication, therapy etc.

I personally think the man is an utter arse wipe but thats just my opinion.

poor love.

she ought to get herself a maternity nurse, like Gwyneth, then she'd have the energy for trailing around the red carpets of the world with Tom Wink

I got married when DD was 10 weeks old. I look chubby but happy in my wedding photos. It was far more important to me to be happy and enjoy being a mum than to become super slim and get my old figure back.

Forgettign to but breast pads in before walking down the aisle - now THAT is another story Wink

Me too Sharklet!

I think dd was 2 and a half months old. My nanna made me wear her great big granny pants cos she said my belly was sticking out, lol!

We were going to be having a big fancy do much later in the year but I wanted to get married sooner. What does it matter if your happy?

Exactly!! Poor lass - he's gping tp be getting her to jump through hoops isn't he! Poor little baby too - who'd want a megalomaniac like that for a dad?

I dont like to make an assumption about her but she seems very very naive. I know she is about the same age as me but lifes experiences have taught me alot and how to stick up for myself. She seems to be completely bullied by him. But I suppose half of it is media perception and the other half truth/lies.

just dont know, but it doesnt seem at all right

and God or whatever his name is in scientology, help her if she gets pnd and needs ADs:(

excersise helps depression so i have read.

i dont totallly believe he is forcing her on a treadmill at gunpoint either, the girl has been in the public eye since she was a lass. she knows the score.

yesif you can be bothered enough to get off your arse, depression also causes extreme tiredness and lethargy!:o

exercise can help depression, but it sounds like the schedule she has been put on is far too intensive for her at this stage. Why does he care so much if she is thin for the wedding? I suppose as he is so obsessed with photo opportunities and stuff that may be more important to him than how comfortable she feels.

I saw a pic of her in Heat I think today and she looks really unhappy
Also fucking heat picked up her flash of maternity bra and lashed her for it
Honestly she looks really vulnerable right now, she is so young and kind and pretty.
like a lamb to the slaughter in a lot of ways.

Shock horror! Celebs wear maternity bras!!!

Must go and sit down!
I actually hate Heat magazine. They go on about these emaciated celebs on one page then you turn over and they're slating someone else for being fat when they're a size 10 or something ridiculous.
Arses.

How long has it been since she's had the baby now?
I remember joining a Yoga class 4/5 weeks after dd and even then I wasn't ready and the instructor asked me not to do much.

She looks completely knackered in Heat.
If he wasn't supposedly so anti=drugs, I'd think he was keeping her doped on something.

She does look low doesn't she? Of course she is tired and emotional - four weeks is nothing, and I can't believe that the run up to the birth was pleasant for her if even half what the media have been saying is true.

haven't read the thread yet so excuse me if i'm repeating but apparently tom has now decreed that she must now be called kate as katie is a girls name and now she is a child bearing woman.
this guy is so weird.

melissasmummy - she may have a voice but she doesn't appear to use it.
Isnt there a row between Tom Cruise & Katie's dad regarding the raising of the child? Cant remember what exactly (will try to find out) but it's a clash between scientology and catholicism.

Woah, a nursing bra? Or a maternity bra? Scientology is anti-bf, so if she's breastfeeding, she's standing up for herself a bit ...
