Northerner · 04/05/2006 12:40

Why the f**k is he in a tank under water not eating for bloomon days, and tehn they'll put hime back in with no breathing apperatus handcuffed and he has to get out. He reckons he can hold his breath for 9 minutes. What about lack of oxygen to the brain and all that?

His Doctor says he is crazy to attempt it.

Is he mad?

I agree he is a bit of a fruitloop but his street magic was wicked but now dont really have alot of respect for him, he just seems to want to die in the public.

He is an odd ball.

I was killing myself laughing with the hamburger flying round him when he in the box, if it had been near me I would have thrown eggs at him too!!!

What an eeejit.

hes one step away from "supersize me" in terms of doing daft things to ur body and not caring!!

he's breathing pure oxygen which should make it easier - besides he's an illusionist so who knows what's real

thank goodness he decided to do this stunt in his home country rather than torturing us all with his silliness

I find it uncomfortable even thinking about David Blaine. He reminds me of those boys at school who turn their eyelids inside out, crack their knuckles or swallow sharpened pencils in an attempt to impress people.

Stop it. Eurch! We'll be your friend anyway you desperate loser.

I also stifled a chuckle over the hamburger incident lou. Didn't The Sun send up a remote control plane with a burger dangling from it. Hilarious. I think the scornful attitude of the British public took him by surprise. Noone likes a show off after all.
