'Crash for Cash' Judgement

Having last year been involved in a set-up 'crash for cash' collision where an organised gang were hoping to clean up on the insurance, this very tragic story of the sad death of Ms Gill caught my eye. I was lucky enough to walk away from the crash I was lured into. She got killed, stranded in the outside lane of a dual carriageway. Very pleased to see the members of the gang got 10 years each.

Shocked to learn that as many as one in seven collisions are set-ups. Based on my own experience, if it were to happen again I would call the police straight away rather than give anyone the benefit of the doubt. I'd also take photos, not just of the damage, but also the people. Anyone else been a victim of one of these crimes?

I haven't been a victim of one of these. Bit have been a victim of two accidents where it was blatantly the other persons fault but they then fibbed about what happened and tried to blame me. I'm seriously thinking of getting a dash cam now.
