sky news says that she had regulary brought #10 bags from a dealer in glasgow.

DH came home and said about this. Aparently she was spending £10 a day on herion, that is £70 a week. How the hell did a 11 yr old get £70 a week in the first place.

If she is taking that much heroin (which is cheaper by far than booze) she will prob be working in some way for her dealer. Maybe as a runner or look out. She may be stealing which is how so many addicts fund the habit or she may be prostituting herself. Doesn't bear thinking about really. God knows what the poor mites parents are like.

Working for or related in some way to the dealer is my guess. Using the drugs she is given, as it is a way to keep the runner going back to the dealer.

My guess is that she is related in some way to the dealer. There is no way her parents/carer can't have known about it, let's face it.

When the local news reported this yesterday they were outside the shopping centre in question and there was a line of phone boxes, in one of which the phone had apparently been ringing all day. So big clue where the dealer was based even though the shopping centre deny all knowledge.

This is scary, very scary, and worse is the news that there are about 50 other primary school children in Glasgow currently addicted to heroin. WTF is going on in this country! The police need a kick up the ass as do the courts in getting these dealers sent away for as long as needs be.

We have a couple across the road from us who used to deal and I think still might. A few years ago I posted on here when their then 3 year old dd gave their then 4 month old dd a "pill." They don't ever seem to have been punished and weren't that bothered about their child nearly dying. It needs sorted now, this whole country is a mess.

Really don't see how the parents of an 11 year old could not know their daughter was using herion daily over a period of time.
