Shock

"... the kitten .... was never seen again ..."

If she is guilty, I hope she will admit to what became of Beauty. (I'm really hoping she was rehomed).

Is this how the term Cat Burglar originated?

The 'other woman' used to be a MN poster too.

Oh! My! Really!

The fact that the kitten hasn't been seen since worried me too.

So will there be some sort of protracted custody thang now, and will he take the kitten overseas to hide from the courts and get the Irish social services to write good reports about him and his fitness to be left in charge of a kitten...

LynetteScavo · 28/09/2011 18:46

So what exactly happened to the kitten?

I'm pretty sure it's in Ireland, actually.

Strange first post NooNews.

Does anyone else think John was a little miffed that MN hadn't taken an interest in him already and decided to bring this to our attention? Hmm

I'm waiting for someone to say it was was social services putting it up for forced adoption.

Jimmy - obviously, despite his protestations, JH is clearly involved in the state kit-napping of the poor innocent little things

I only post on Mumsnet in my own name.

Ah some very witty responses on here. Loved your post mathanxiety, and Lilka and Jimmy S. At last I can see that people are treating JH with the contempt that he deserves.

Not at all. Mr. Hemming is a firm believer in the principle that justice is best served by having the widest possible public debate over court proceedings. I'd be fascinated to read his views on this case.

Freaking hysterical!

Would like to know what happened to the kitten though, could you ask your wife for us, John?

Report
EdithWeston · 30/09/2011 17:45

Here's a link to the current BBC article.

She claims she abandoned the kitten (who was the pet of the 4yr old!) by shoving it through a neighbouring fence. A mean and vile action.
