I cringed when I was reading about this. Apparently gynecological instruments were found at the scene along with an array of other devices and enough food to survive for weeks/months.

I felt genuinely ill when I read the gynecological instruments part. Thank God that woman managed to escape, she must have been so scared. Apparently she may have escaped through a window COVERED IN BARBED WIRE.
