Creation of a Sunday Sun

This will probably be lost in all the other threads, but it has already been reported that News Corp will waste no time in replacing NotW. The domain SundaySun.com has already been bought.

It may even be the case that the staff from NotW are transferred to this new newspaper. It's a really badly kept secret but the NotW WILL be transferred and will emerge again under a new name. So watch out for that and make sure you tell everyone to boycott it.

Bloody cheeky to think they can just close down one newspaper and start another, probably even using the same staff, and we wouldn't notice. Just goes to show what they think of the public.

Basically RB is like a fifth daughter to RM. She's family almost. Which makes it inconceivable that the Murdoch's did not know what was going on either. I wonder who it was who came up with the idea of her being on holiday when the Milly Dowler and Soham cases were being covered by the NotW? Any editor worth their salt would make damn sure they were on top of those huge stories at every turn and would almost certainly check up on what has been happening when they got back from holiday.

She's in it up to her eyeballs but because RM has taken her under his wing, she will be shielded from the law and offered a cushy job elsewhere.

As a Liverpudlian, I have not read a single page of any of their scummy rags since April 1989 and will continue to take this stance. Many others from this region do the same, such is the strength of feeling since Hillsborough. We'd love to see the whole organisation crumble as a result of this.

There's already a newspaper called the Sunday Sun. NI will either have to buy their name off them or come up with a different one.

There is also quite a few FB pages up and running. Unsure if they are genuine or not.

One has stated that "The Sun on Sunday" will be launched on 17th July.
