Hugh Grant is good. smile

MoreBeta Thu 07-Jul-11 22:54:49

Yes he has been excellent.

mrsdonkeybucket Thu 07-Jul-11 22:56:09

I just wonder who else was supposed to be on, until all this kicked off ?

Hugh is a nice chnage, though !

mrsdonkeybucket Thu 07-Jul-11 22:57:43

*change, sorry

Jon Gaunt could stop shouting.

Saying lots of good things though.

Think the Politicians's are a bit 'stuck'.

mrsdonkeybucket Thu 07-Jul-11 22:59:52

Isn't it convenient that Chris Grayling is saying that there will be no public inquiry until after the Police investigation.

Why not ?

LoveBeingAbleToNamechange Thu 07-Jul-11 23:00:58

Have been quite impressed by hg blush

LegoStuckinMyhoover Thu 07-Jul-11 23:01:21

Typical politician, completely out of touch with the real world.

LegoStuckinMyhoover Thu 07-Jul-11 23:02:53

yes, the baroness has been very worldy wise too.

mrsdonkeybucket Thu 07-Jul-11 23:02:54

I think Hugh has been brought in especially. Wish I could remember who was mentioned last week....

moonferret Thu 07-Jul-11 23:03:20

That Jon Gaunt is such a pain. Yet another fabricated "celebrity". I thought that when TalkSport very sensibly dispensed with this right-wing fanatic, it'd be the last we'd hear from him. Sadly Question Time have spoilt that slightly.

mrsdonkeybucket Thu 07-Jul-11 23:03:21

Yes, she is speaking well.

mrsdonkeybucket Thu 07-Jul-11 23:05:43

Oh, look, tory standard response.

Why didn't the 'old' govt. do something ?

It's so old.

ifancyashandy Thu 07-Jul-11 23:05:50

They will have had the line up sorted a while ago but dropped changed people quick smart when the story broke. Hugh will have moved he'll and high water to be there once the call went into his agent this morning! As said up thread, is a subject he has been campaigning on and is clearly very knowledgable about.

Tis the beauty of live telly!

mrsdonkeybucket Thu 07-Jul-11 23:06:48

He's not afraid of speaking his mind, is he !

MollieO Thu 07-Jul-11 23:08:07

HG is spot on about RB threatening to destroy Select Committee MPs lives.

mrsdonkeybucket Thu 07-Jul-11 23:09:16

He really does know his stuff. I read his newspaper piece the other day, and was very impressed.

Meglet Thu 07-Jul-11 23:10:05

Seeing as he was caught in LA with Divine Brown he can say what he wants as there's probably not much muck they can rake up against him.

slartybartfast Thu 07-Jul-11 23:10:28

what paper?
<<not the sun i guess>> grin

what paper though?

I can't remember the paper, I came across it on another thread. Sorry. blush

I'm sure someone will know and be able to do a link......?

stretch Thu 07-Jul-11 23:12:17

That's a good thing really though Meg. After all, nobody is squeaky clean so somebody with nothing to lose is perfect.

(didn't like his comments few weeks back about men being men will stray blah blah....though)

mrsdonkeybucket Thu 07-Jul-11 23:13:53

I would cancel subscription, do you wish to 'support' NI or not ?

Personal preference, but I do not intend to buy any of their publications.

Papers that have been bought prior to this week are currently being shat on by cockatiel !
