Already thanks to online activity Ford and Renault have withdrawn advertising in the paper.. with other major companies seriously considering withdrawal..
We need to politely tell these orgs that we are opposed to how they have treated the Dowler family and most likely the families in Soham as well...

How can I help:
Join and promote Boycott News Of The World @ www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_117353158356469

sign the petition @ hackinginquiry.org/
A group of leading journalists, MPs and academics has also formed a campaign, dubbed Hacked Off, calling for a public inquiry into the phone hacking allegations at the Sunday tabloid

Thank you for your time and I hope we can together bring some closure to all the families and protect common decency...

I can't afford to buy a new Ford or a Renault, but if any other company (Rymans ideally) pulls out their ads I will buy loads of their stuff as and when x

"i never read such shite anyway but to all of you who do - STOP BUYING IT"

That should be a given.

There is rather obviously I would have thought already an active thread on this very subject. Having more than one on active convos at any time just dilutes the input.

it's not all about you & raising your personal profile

you are way behind the curve Jazzy it's all happening here as someone said, with campaigns, addresses etc

If this gives the campaigning "what to do" in shorter form (than the pages long discussion thread), it will be helpful.

For those minded to boycott here's wiki on the NewsCorp empire. There is a lot to avoid - but the more the better!
