OK, you can have specific stuff for the machines, like laundry powder and dishwasher stuff and I'll chuck in a free bottle of Fairy washing up liquid, but for the rest of the house?

And not vinegar.
I don't care that it has amazing properties, I don't want my house to smell like a fish and chip shop.

Wet Wipes. I once cleaned a whole holiday apartment with wipes. When the agent came to check all was I order as we left, he complimented me on how clean we had left it.

Sugar soap

Floor wipes . They are thicker than normal anti bacterial wipes . I use them to clean everywhere.

rightwhine Sun 16-Jul-17 13:41:17

Tesco multi surface wipes.

MrsChopper Sun 16-Jul-17 13:41:41

Can I have two, please?!
Ammonia (water it down to wash windows, floors, counters, anything that gets greasy)
and Bicarbonate of soda (for scrubbing grime, cleaning stainless steel, oven dirt, limescale).
Sorted!

I need 3! Barkeeper's Friend, Viakal and baby wipes.

If I had to choose, probably the wipes.

YellowLawn Sun 16-Jul-17 13:43:18

I use bio powder for most cleaning.
does an amazing job on floors and sinks.

salemcat Sun 16-Jul-17 13:43:48

Method clementine spray

Crumbelina Sun 16-Jul-17 13:44:38

Unless you need anti-bac wipes for surfaces, baby wipes are so much cheaper, e.g. for dusty surfaces. About 1p each.

SlaveToDisney Sun 16-Jul-17 13:44:42

Bleach! <runs away>

millifiori Sun 16-Jul-17 13:44:48

Zoflora lavender. If you dilute it really weakly it can be used as a idsinfectant spray for all surfaces including floors. Stronger for cleaning loos and emergencies after the cat has been sick etc. It doesn't smell over powering, just of real lavender, .so long as it's not too strong

SchadenfreudePersonified Sun 16-Jul-17 13:45:27

Method - is excellent!

Also, Fairy original is good for just about everything, too.

MaisyPops Sun 16-Jul-17 13:45:27

Stardrops white vinegar spray for me. But it does still have that vinegar type smell.

If anyone has a brilliant all round affordable cleaning product I can use instead, please let me know!

emma8t4 Sun 16-Jul-17 13:46:41

Star drops the original one, dilute and use as a spray for surfaces, it cleans mirrors, you can use it in you washing machine and as washing up liquid.

FormerlyFrikadela01 Sun 16-Jul-17 13:46:54

Zoflora

I clean everything with either soapy water made with fairy liquid or zoflora.

TeenagersandFurbabies Sun 16-Jul-17 13:48:12

Method wild rhubarb anti- bac all purpose cleaner. It smells great and I use it literally everywhere.

SerfTerf Sun 16-Jul-17 13:49:12

Flash (Febreeze scented version). You can clean surfaces, bathrooms AND floors with it and it makes everything smell clean (although I'd miss the smell of almond method spray).

OopsThereGoMyTrousers Sun 16-Jul-17 14:30:04

Thanks for your suggestions...
So I'm going to be VERY generous and let you have 3 cleaning products.
So fill yer boots...!

What are your magic three?
I have closer to three dozen and they're all rubbish...

e1y1 Sun 16-Jul-17 14:31:45

Simple - BLEACH!

<wants to run, but isn't doing> I can't understand how people clean without it.
