How can you stop crows/magpies from pecking binbags?

Is there any magic solution? We have to put our bin bags out by the kerb ready for collection by 7am, and almost every week they're pecked open by 8am.

I really wish we had those big plastic bins instead of having to put bags out. There's all kinds of yuk on the street now the birds have been through everyone's rubbish. Barf!

Shotgun? Suggest you phone the council and ask them if their pest control people have any ideas (plus they can sweep the street).

Thanks for that!

I don't have a firearm handy but I do have a telephone. I'll suggest they come round with their brooms pronto!
