Mould in Airing Cupboard

SingleMum01 · 07/03/2010 20:12

I have a mould patch developing in top corner of my airing cupboard. Its a large cupboard where I hang and dry clothes. How can I get rid of the mould patch? Why is it there?

The cupboard is below the water tank in my roof which did have a problem although I believe this is now fixed. I was told this wasn't causing the problem though as the problem from the water tank was further up on my ceiling.

mould appears when wet air [from the wet clothes) hits warm air. if there is no ventilation the mould appears. i just use raw bleach to kill and remove the mould all the expensive cleaners in the shops are mainly bleach based anyway

there is no ventilation in the cupboard. So it is just from drying my wet clothes in there then. Thanks I'll invest in some bleach and get rid of it.

mine just wipes off with a floor wipe thing. if it's just on the surface it's normal
