Hi Jas and thanks for the thread.

Good news! My dog (who hasn't been well for a week) is now much better! The antibs seem to be doing their job and also she has got used to her new lamb and rice diet. I'm more proficient at getting her to swallow the twice daily tablet in a few seconds so that reduces the stress on both of us.

I have to stay in for two couriers today and also have an engineer coming on Thurs. We seem to be having a run of things breaking down and needing to be repaired or replaced. Hmmmm. Thank goodness dh takes out an extra years warranty (free to us) with our Visa card.

Sorry I'm not posting on the threads very much atm. I do try to read through regularly, though. I look forward to seeing all you FLYers later on today on the thread.

Morning Jas, thanks for the thread

Just popping on with a list the off to nursery and school

To Do

  • DD to nursery
  • Me to school
  • Shopping for vital ingredients for tea and more pain relief gel cos I've run out so will have to manage until later
  • Meeting tonight
  • Sign Language revision (I'll be so glad tomorrow when I actually have the exam)
  • Washing
  • File governors notes the I left out from last night
  • Contact pension company - Just received a letter in my maiden name, I'm sure I tell them every quarter
  • leg exercises and Ice
  • Buy present for DD's friend. Found a nice craft box in Argos full of different craft activities. Apparently she is into this so should be good (recommendation from mum so don't feel so guilty at buying messy things )
  • Tidy kitchen - DH made his own tea last night as I was out and hasn't washed rinsed or soaked anything

That should keep me busy - catch up later

Simply - crossed posts. I'm pleased to hear your dog is better. I hate having to stay in for deliveries etc but it usually means I get more done. I don't think alot of us are posting as regularly at the moment, life seems to be busy for all.

Hello everyone. Goodness, what a late start you all had.

Have a handyman here today who is doing lots of odd jobs. It's great.

I have hoovered and moved stuff around but mainly read books to dd2 who is being indulged with a rare morning at home.

Star quick post,
LOL Bridget, you can do it!
I've just had glass of wine and a hobnob in despair - and I know you are a 1000 times more motivated than me, so good luck.

You just have to decide whether you are essentially a round or rake/stringy like person. I know I am at heart a rake, so when I'm round I'm not me. But everyone is different.

Dylsmum that's lovely news. Hope dd s better now too.
