Argghhhh...candlewax on jumper...

help please... I spilt a lot of candlewax on my jumper last night does anyone have any tips for removing it?
otherwise I fear it's knackered

brown paper on jumper warm ish iron

iron the paper and the wax should come off the jumper onto the paper

hopefully

Is it synthetic/wool? would it stand hot temps for a couple of minutes?

hit post too soon - was going to say what Trinity said

Don't do that trick if you get wax on a synthetic carpet though. You will end up with a brown iron-shaped singe mark in the middle of your floor [idiot emoticon]

I thought brown paper could be involved somewhere....
I just looked at the blend..it's 48% wool, 30% Alpaca (blimey, had no idea) and 22% acrylic
I'll give the iron a go
