Morning all

Well we have heavy rain here and today is the day that I asked DH to take my car for servicing and the fix the rattling and jolting. So I have to walk a reluctant DD to school in the rain with a sore knee. It take about 25 minutes to walk to nursery in the middle of the day as only the main entrance is open so no short cuts.

I did manage to get to the chemist yesterday and after arguing over whather ibroprefen gel would cause the same side-effects as tablets was advised to get voltarol Gel so i've spent the morning with my leg on a cushion with the gel on hoping it works to make the walk easier.

Other jobs to do

  • Cook joint of Ham for sandwiches this weekend
  • Cook fresh breadcakes
  • Transfer dates to diary (I promise I will do this today)
  • Find notes for governors meeting on Monday
  • Find DD's swimming things for tomorrow
  • Sign language revision for exam next week
  • Whats for tea
  • Clear off chest at top of stairs which DH has covered in clothes

Thanks for thread MC
I am also posting on Fledgling Flyers because I am still very behind on my Flying methods, and 'tis lovely to chat

morning is probably going to deterioate as dts at home, upset stomachs, sneezing, coughing, sniffing, complaining. Just ploughing through the most basic housework at moment. Feeling useless on routine sorting/cleaning, as I've been out three nights this week on DUTIES (well did fit in the pub yest) and dh fed up with practicalities this week, (although he's still v. helpful on putting to bed, breakfast, and buying fruit/cereal )

Blimey it's quiet on here today.
Very tired here, not had many hours sleep this week with DD with a cold and general rubbish at getting to bed. Migraine yesterday, managed to get to my interview though. Looks like they want me to do 5 hours tuition per week for 10 weeks, paid for 12 weeks at £25 hour so very pleased! It will be a good way of getting back into working life!

BB tomorrow.

Wendy, that's a pretty cool arrangement you must be very pleased.
Tea hoping you are just busy, and things are going alright at the hospital with your mum. If they are not, I am sending every sympathy.

dcs are in bed, bedtime very long and drawn out, dh has gone to bed already, knocked out by business lunch. MIL rang after he had departed, cue ds2 running riot in corridors and trying to steal ds1's money. But at least house is a BIT TIDIER than it was ths morning, and I've sorted out some of bookshelves in dcs bedrooms, put all ladybirds together etc, Dahl together, Dr Who together, and now looking forward to a nice peaceful evening with no washing up.
