morning all I wish you all a happy weekend

so far I have got up cleaned the poo off ds's bedroom carpet, loaded and unloadedd the dw, showered ds to get the poo off him and dried and dressed him. I am now back in bed with a cup of tea. Why do my lie-ins never go to plan?

Morning All Thank you Wolf for the thread. Not so bad here just wee! All linen in the machine now! I'll have to make time soon to speak to HV re LB still wetting the bed he is 5 now!
Ok! we are going uptown to Don't Move Improve exhibition. I have just read the small print and I needed to register!!!!! I can phone at 10am and check if we can walk in!!!I'm so annoyed with myself.
Anyway nice to get out of the routine. Hope DH doesn't go all thin lipped at me! (a sign of impending doom! I'll promise him sex and he'll cheer up
Have a nice day

Morning all wolf love the dress, btw, forgot to say yesterday. Poo not a great start to the day but hope it gets better!
dyls are you nervous about your interview?
ruby hope you are ok. about the shoes bargain! I never manage those clarks bargains as DD and DS have strange feet sizes.
star LOL at sex promise, hope it works and he keeps his end of the bargain and keeps happy! Men are so transparent aren't they, it always works on my DH too.
Had a good night out last night, my best friend was horribly drunk though and was sick a lot! She is pretty unhappy so I felt a bit better at the end of the night by comparison! I am ok today.
I am worried about worms though. DD's friend came to play Thursday and Thursday night was discovered she has worms . So i am on the look out for them, never having had a case before not sure!
Hope you all have a good day.

Both all too familiar in our house I'm afraid. But usuallyjust letting off steam - I'm sure he's just doing that.

Bad side of morning: ds2 woke at 5.00am and despite being sent back to bed (and lying low)several times, did not go back to sleep. In very beserk mood as result, and could not go to catechism (black mark to me)due to screaming tantrum.
Good side of morning: car is back home, fixed and MOTed.
Lost Sheep Role PLay went well - and I enjoyed the hour teaching.
Dd went v. nicely to catechism with workbook filled in
Children at music, and seem to be playing football too when I dropped by! Multi-tasking!

Now to make lunch - carbonara as I forgot to defrost the planned lunch
dh is calm refreshed mood, let's see how long that lasts. He was most tickled by the concept of Date Night having never heard of it before

Hello again simply

Sorry no post yesterday. Coffee morning for Haiti at school, Listening to Cd's and then a call to tell me my dad was in hospital

Was lead to believe that DF was at deaths door. Get to hospital 12 miles away to find a seriously ill DF on a general ward. Calls to the hospital this morning say he's now stable and making progress. Also discovered he's been in since MONDAY WTF, 4 days and no one told me DB is seeing him today and keeping me in touch.

Neice's 10th b'day today so we're off to the party late this aft.

Have lovely days ladies

Our family's a bit like that Grouchy everyone always assumes someone else has passed on vital information, and sometimes I only get to hear things from the lesser relatives. I'm so glad he's stable - that is a blessing. Poor you, what a shock.

That song Chasing Cars reminds me of My fave which by Keane, and called Somewhere Only We Know don't like the video of it that much though too muddy...

I have been doing things but I can't be bothered to post them just now. I hope everyone's day starts to improve.

quick hello all....
Had DD4's Bday celebrations and party today.
House full of 3 and 4 year olds...eeek!
Actually all went well, was a fairly small gathering, DD had a lovely time...but V overtired and overexcited and over sugared now...and not going to bed ...

Plan to get DC settled and have delayed Date night...I find Saturdays wprk better here as less daily grind/work type stress hanging around than on a Fri evening...MUST turn OFF PC for whole evening!

better dash...DD shouting

Dylsmum my youngest nephew and my dd are soo similar too - more like each other than the twins curly haired blond arty and sociable
Star let that genius shine out

good day here, felt v. tired, don't how you early starters do it day after day, fell asleep reading Famous Five in dd's bed.
She had a friend round this afternoon, and I had coffee with her mother; much hilarity sliding down the stairs in sleeping bags.
Boys on Wii - horrid shouting noises coming from playroom - dh the worst of them.

Hello again

Well, the party was lovely, DH happy about the football result and we all got home at midnight.

Then Ed was lavishly sick in the yard followed by being sick when he woke and generously sick again in our room.

So Ed decamped to our room and slept while I

StripEd's bed and spot clean the mattress
Scrub hhis carpet
Clean the wooden slats, steps and desk
Remade our bed
load WM and run x4!
take down drying washing
Load TD and run x5
Put clean dry washing away
Hang up wet washing
Make our bed
Dry Ed's mattress
{burning myself on the iron in the process )
Remake his sky bed (inc the teddy station)
Tidy his room
Vac his room
Vac bathroom
Vac landing
Vac top half of stairs
then stop as I couldn't stand up

I'll tie in the stuff I missed into tomorrow's home bleering

DF is improving but he has the signs of early stage liver cirrosis. He has been told to stop his heavy drinking or he'll be drad in 2 years At least we now know what the problem is. Then his DP tells us he's been ill for 5 weeks WTFFF)

DH is talking about a family break to Rome. I should be exstatic but I really want to go to Belfast. I truly am not all there

Hope you've all had good weekends. Loads of hugs to you all

back from swimming - 18 laps and dcs frolicked
tried a new approach to ds2 going berserk -[switching off computer at swimmingpool to go home]told him how wonderful he was and firmly removed him from scene- it worked!!!

Grouchy oh what a lot of work one vomiting child makes - poor you - will you keep him at home tomorrow and just lie low?
ROME ROME ROME
heavenly place for boys to explore - Forum Colosseum etc, lovely food, a trifle noisy
planes are always delayed though
my PILs have lived there for last 25 years, despte beign German. Their city flat too small for us tostay in though - dh visits them alone and refuses to let us stay in hotel as he says Italians would find us too badly behaved . I think we might go again when the dts are 9. Used to go before marriage.

now I need to cook supper and apply myself to some chores
