reorganise fridge to accommodate xmas delivery on Sunday
take something out of freezer for Mum visit tonight - soup, and escalopes
cards for her are MADE

Sorry, I was missing yest as I had to hunt in town for a new Christmas lunch outfit as the dress I bought in Sept was worn to a meal with the same bunch of people. But! Success! [it's never a good sign when I start re-working the English language] I'm going to wear my black jeans I bought for the MN meet-up, a Dotty P top (£6), a pair of black patent shoes I got in the Clarks sale yest (£40) with a £10 matching handbag, a new Dotty P scarf (£12) and my black jacket. Sorted! I also got my hair coloured and cut yest so I think I will look fairly presentable.

Right. From now until 11am it must be housework all the way as the house is far too untidy. Back later.

Swan Thank you. Did it while watching various Christmas themed programmes Grumpy women at Christmas the best. Today has to include ordinary housework. Very cold in this house. New Year project to get front wall cavity filled and sort out the cold wooden floor, its not posh just old bare floor boards! Maybe sort out the very cold bathroom as well! (My own fault put looks above comfort!)

DH end of term party He'll come home drank Just hope he doesn't slip and break another bone.

morning all

only slight powdering of snow here...notenough for day off

Have woken up in grumpy mood for no logical reason ]

Had to defrost car doors to get them to open this morning....found that unreasonably irritating!

DH came in late afeter his school concert and heated up microwavecurry....hencekitchen total mess(HOW with one smallpack to pop inmicrowave?????) and house stinks of curry ....so irritated withDH too

Seem to be developing grumpy headache too...

And feeling overwhelmed despite feeling under control yesterday...
Very odd....maybe it's the cold...

Oh and poor dog has very red eye...am bathing with cooled boiled water hoping against hope I can avoid (costly) trip to vets....simplyor any other doggy mommys know anything about doggy conjunctivitis????

Have resorted to putting tv on for littlies whilst I have cuppa and gather my thoughts...

Nursery drop off at 11.45....assembly at 2.30...so not much afternoon...should get on now really..

OFM - I am feeling unreasonably upbeat - now considering knitting a quick scarf for mother out of the wool I found behind the sofa...when we were making room for piano...and perfecting a little party turn so that she thinks we have Talent.

No DH is working till Wednesday Evening, but he is here cause of all the Snow.

Now Wendy, Ruby and OFM I HAVE to get to the post office as your little parcels have everything the children need to make reindeer food for Christmas Eve and labels etc. So na na na na. I was making it for my 2 anyway, so a little extra was no hastle.

I have convinced DH to come home to look after DD at lunch time as she has not been able to go to childcare due to snow and to drive me to gym as its quite a way away.

Shopping will also mean walking to shops so that is going to take ages.

StAnne - you are so right. I have been so unhappy for this last month - worrying about money and everything else.

Well you know what - I am a very lucky bunny I have my family, we are healthy and I can mess about with crafty things with my children!!!!

quarter of scarf knitted - v large loopy stitches so warming to cold hands
ds has practised some piano - unfortunately he seems to prefer electric cheapy which makes weird sound effects
nowhe is drawing cartoons from a How to draw a cartoon book - holding my breath

DH has just skidded in his car and crashed into a kerb and twisted all the underneath of the car which looks like its about to collapse and is going nowhere - Just what we need before christmas. He is waiting for a tow truck but is up in Leeds so don't know how he is going to get home

I've cancelled my gym appointment so I guess I should get on with the rest of my list but i'm so annoyed. At least he isn't hurt

Oh well. Just put snow white on for DD so may watch that to cheer me up
