How do I get rid of lines in my jumpers?

I am tearing my hair out trying to get lines out of a couple of jumpers I have when I wash them - I've tried flat drying, hanging them to dry, etc but they still have lines on them!

Any ideas?

if you dry them inside out, do they still have lines on when you turn them the right way round?

yes - they're a viscose mix here

I'm not sure how to describe it - tide marks perhaps? They aren't permanent but are where creases look like they have set in the fabric.

I've seen other people wearing similar jumpers with these marks and it's driving me crazy!

I know what you mean but don't have an answer I'm afraid - think I've probably just washed them again and hoped they dry flatter without the lines...bump for you!

If they are flat dried they shouldn't have lines in them.

Have you tried a cool iron?

Other trick is to hang on a rail but put a thick towel under to stop the bars on the rail makinglines.

no it's not the bars making the lines - they're like crease marks but don't come out when ironed

anyone else?
