Morning all! That sounds like a manageable mission today (meaning I might do it rather than thinking 'that sounds like a good idea' but not actually getting round to doing it )!

To do:
laundry away
tidy up paperwork in living room
tidy side tables in living room and clean
put out bins and recycling

morning all

a slightly better nights sleep - up since 5 but cold/flu thing feels worse.

ruby we got the crosstrainer about a week ago, I'm actually really enjoying it. I shove strictly it takes 2 on the iplayer and try to do 15 mins. My scales are currently lying to me as I seem to have put on a stone since yesterday which is clearly not the case - think the battery must be on the blink.

mad for goodness sake woman take it easy.

morning scatty and leeloo

Morning all

Sorry not been on all week been feeling yucky so any down time i've just spent vegging on the settee. I cancelled most of school this week but other things I have to do - I hate that as an adult you can no longer be ill, you have to carry on.

Anyway just popped on to see how everyone is but seems that illness has hit most of us - better now than xmas I guess.

I'm doing bare minimum to get by today as I have assignments that are due as well.

Tea make sure you are resting too - your list does sound like a normal day.

Off to make breakfast for DD - will try and catch up on threads later

Hurray! Mission accomplished... . I am officially a good girl and my toaster has less no crumbs under it!) I even splashed out and wiped the (empty) bin down after doing the sides - a good idea as baby DS has decided he likes popping the lid open and closed and yesterday I caught him licking it - ewwwwww!

Just a quicky - Wolf We took our GP neigbours advice and DID NOT give the children the Tamiflu. It will only reduce your symtons for 12 ish hours

Report
Wolfcub · 12/11/2009 16:12

thanks mad that's what I thought, also read something that says it is most effective in the first 24-48 hours and we are well past that now.

Report
wendyhappysmile · 12/11/2009 18:26

Hey
Wolf Poor you, no wonder you've been feeling rough. The Tamiflu is at its most effective as you say within 48 hours of contracting the virus, so there is little point in taking it now.
Tea Are you taking it easy woman!! All that blinking shopping when you're still recovering!
scatty hope your house is shaping up?!
swan hope you're feeling ok
galen you astound me
knickers didn't realise you had moved to ossett! We should meet up for a coffee or something. Yes one charity shop and it's not much cop either! The market is good Tuesdays and Fridays though, esp Fridays, lots of bargain stalls with good quality stuff, def worth a visit. what school catchment will your DD be in for nursery?
everyone hi
Need to get ready - off to a handbag party!
Had a good day - Castle, soft play, swimming lesson (swam a width!!!), painting with DC, veggie lasagne for tea.
See you all tomorrow lovelies.

Scattyspice - lol, glad I'm not the only one with a little one with a bin fetish!

Swanriver - yes it is, well done for guessing (dates me somewhat! ) I love Luc Besson films and so the nickname caught on.

ruby I am glad I am not the only one with a post office next to a dugs programme. The pharmacy next to ours seems to be the local methadone point and at a particular time of day there is a very interesting queue at said pharmacy. Take it easy lady that sounds like a very busy day
