Large Pin Board for the Kitchen

Since Ds started school my house seems to be permanently awash with bits of paper - letters, party invitations, drawings ...

do you have any recommendations for a board to stick these on? We have a small old-fashined pin board that things are always falling off. Is there some new hi-tech way of clipping things on so they don't end up on the floor?

Ideally I'd get something big enough that some nice pics can live permanently at the top of. We do have a large empty wall in the kitchen.

Alternatively you can buy some soft board from a timber merchant - comes in huge sheets but they will cut down for you. You can then cover in Cath Kidston fabric of your choice.

Sounds like a very nice idea, Clarice. I'd go for that one.
