DH has a pull in his fine wool suit - what to do?

Can anyone help please? DH has a tiny pull in the cuff of his fine wool suit - it is like a teeny tuft sticking up, not a loop.

I have tried sort of massaging the fabric around it to see if I can pull it back in but no dice.

I am guessing I shouldn't cut it off with scissors as that will make a hole? Any advice please?

As it is on the cuff it is actually quite obvious even though it is quite small.

Thank you

I know its tiny, but try putting a very fine needle next to the pull, push it through the fabric until just the eye is visable, then carefully put the pull into the needle and pull.

(If you've got one you could use a needle threaders).

Hope this makes sense!!!

Good luck.

If a normal needle doesn't work, you can get special ones from haberdashers (or John Lewis sewing depts) which have no hole, but a rough-textured top. You insert the needle by the pull, and the rough texture drags the pull through to the reverse of the fabric. They are very effective and don't damage things.

Ooh - I love John Lewis so will look out for one of those gadgets next time I am there. The needle trick worked quite well though Anste - there is only a tiny bit of the pull showing and is much improved so thank you very much
