Lakeland Catalogue- showerguard and sonic brushes?

God what a boring title. But I'm sitting with a cup of tea and the Lakeland "must prepare for Xmas" catalogue. Does showerguard work or should I stick with my trusty E cloths?
And do these sonic bathroom brushes do what they say- I'm thinking grouting which has discoloured due to using shampoo for brunettes. Also awkward corners in the shower doors.

I use my steamer for those jobs. Am sorely tempted by the heated clothes horses though.

Steamer?

whomovedmychocolate Sat 24-Oct-09 14:11:56

Steam cleaner, great on tiles, blasts the crud off!

ilovemydogandmrobama Sat 24-Oct-09 14:24:35

Wow -- thanks! Have a wall paper steamer. When moved into DP's batchelor pad house, there was miles and miles of woodchip shock hmm and made it my personal mission to get it off every single surface.

Ooh I want a steamer. What sort have you got?

Thanks WMMC, will look into it. Magnets, what they meant to do?

Prevent limescale and scum build up (perhaps could be used outside poling stations to stop votes for the BNP?) wink

Oooh good Lidl tip! I love Lakeland. I wish I was rich and could buy gadgets to my heart's content.

whomovedmychocolate Sat 24-Oct-09 19:41:09

I use my old sonic toothbrush on the taps with Viakal - it does get them v sparkly!

grin Sat 24-Oct-09 19:44:40

Am now on Lakeland website. Am supposed to be cooking dinner...it's a slippery slope...

whomovedmychocolate Sat 24-Oct-09 20:27:16

i used mould zapping stuff from lakeland on my bathroon ceiling as it was rank. worked a treat so did tiles in shower as well. they are beautiful and shiny. have been using that other shower scum preventer stuff since and still all lovely.(sorry pregnant brain)./

whomovedmychocolate Sat 24-Oct-09 20:38:40

I also used the mould zapping stuff on my silicon tile sealant and it really does do the job. But it's pretty noxious stuff, I wouldn't be doing it if I was pregnant!

whomovedmychocolate Sat 24-Oct-09 20:45:55

Why thank you!

Miggsie Sat 24-Oct-09 20:49:06

The showerguard stuff does work...but only when you actually use it....I have not the housewifery skills to remember to use it every day after the first week...

Yes, the mould killer is fab.

And the stay fresh bags for food...they really work!
