Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah to the slagging off. It seems to happen on a cycle tbh.

What works for some, don't work for others.

Grumpy Hence staying away as I was sick of moaning and I'm def not actually getting anything done!

How about you?

Every time I try to do a job something starts hurting (ribs, bump, back etc.). Also a bit knackered / emotional e.g. cried at an assistant at Laura Ashley today because she spent ages finding the manager to give me a refund on crap over expensive clock. She kept me standing at the counter for ages and my back was killing me. Stoopid people do they not know I wanted it immediately grr.

Suppose I better write a list..

Ah, a new thread. That's much easier

Massive sympathies Flame and HMHB. I'm still sooooo glad DS is out, every day I think 'thank fuck I'm not pregnant any more'. He's 4 months already... Am pleased I'm not an elephant!

Just prep-ed a fish pie, then DP phoned to say he's stuck in enormous traffic jams and wont be home in time to eat. No point in cooking it now just for DD, it'll be spoiled if I re-heat it. Oh well, at least that's tomorrows dinner sorted! Off to have a cup of tea and then make scrambled eggs for DD. We'll probably just have eggs too.

As you see my lists keep growing throughout the day - I'm trying to work out what I do / should do so I can plan things better

Evening all

Haven't been about today as i do a course on tuesdays but it seems to be a logistical nightmare getting horses, DD and myself ready in time for it. I literally felt like crying in Waitrose this evening because i couldn't find the calpol plug in thingies. I am not pg, just incredibly tired, and i currently have a stinky cat sat on my lap waving it's bum in my face and a DD that is wandering round grizzling

I think virtual chocolate and glasses of wine are in order this evening for all (its ok pg ones can have virtual wine)

Going back to sticky handprints; We went to visit my step mum's parents (her and my dad now separated) at the beginning of september and apparently step nan has not cleaned the bottom half of their glass door since because there are little Daisy handprints on it and they make her smile everytime she sees it

norks

Ok this is how the thread works

list all the things you need to do,
some people even put down long standing jobs or just jobs for today,
but since we are not fly ladies no more than 3 completed lists in a week?? think thats right
get up, dressed washed etc can be included so we have more dones, especially as we know that sometimes after having a baby(eg) getting up showered and dressed is a days work when you really just want to stay in your jammies

so generally its putting your list on here and having abit of a gossip at the same time, and make some lovely mn friends

we did have a chat thread going but think we generally still use this for a good moan chat

Smallblessings & Comewhinewithme had us on tenderhooks a few threads back they had their babies

so now it is HMHB & Flames turn

Then it will be over to JKS thats going to be on her xmas to do list

Hope your mum sticks to it, my mum says it all the time but forgets herself

dh is off out to work so I have

fed cat & dog
loaded dishwasher & turned on
having a little respite on mn before bedtime starts dd2 needs togo soon as she is whining round the house,
she wants her daddy, neeeeeeeds her daddy,
not because he is away to work but because she couldn't have some Hanah Montona thing from dd1

Norks I am a bad swearer too but trying to rein it in since dd muttered "for fucks sake" at her toys

Alice when I went to my sister's recently she had handprints from dd that had been there a whole year! She claims she deliberately didn't clean them off but I am

Mmm gin. I have gin but no tonic. Gin and apple juice? Gin and orange juice? Gin and tropical hi huice? Gin and ancient f;at lemonade? Gin and wine?? Which shall I go for?

G&T for me too please, if there's any left!

I's 8:30pm the Dishwasher is on and the house is generally clean and tidy. This feels goooood

clairy - gin and orange is OK actually, definitely drinkable if you make it a long one. Have orange juice but no gin here. Gah. I don't tend to swear much IRL, but it just seems to happen on MN

OMG - DS is in bed, and quiet, and he had warm milk in his cup rather than boob, for the first time, ever!! I am still BFing in the morning and mid/late afternoon but it would be lovely to be released from the tyranny of bedtime.

Clairey - Gin and apple juice I think would be the best combination
