Morning
My DC are driving me mad screaming and shouting - they are so LOUD! Think DS is really ready to go back to school now really and DD will be better off with some structure and routine to her days too.
To do
Make minestrone soup
still to sweep and mop downstairs!
Still to vacuum stairs and porch
it's raining - go out somewhere?
post office for a parcel
stick the hedgehog thingies together

right off to get showered and dressed

Right back to normal in the Starbear household. DH has gone to work. All change next week as DS has his first day at school. I'll be doing some serious flying and exercise, put on 2 stones in last five years
had a long conversation with friend, mum of Ds's friend from nursery. Glad we are going to stay in touch. Must book somewhere to have ds's party so parents come too. Only going to invite old friends at the mo. Ds's birthday is October.
Wendy I'm going to write that title into my receipe book
Put on W/M
Breakfast Wash & Dress (well it's still hols for us)
load D/W
make beds
Get Ds's haircut
shopping for socks & picnic food
lunch
make pumkin stew.
make muffins for picnic.

Hi Wendy What are these Hedgehog thingies you speak of?
I would get out of the house, anywhere, even in the rain. We had heavy rain yesterday looks okay this morning. It really feels like autumn already

Hi star nothing exciting, just off mister Maker. Paint leaves and press down on paper to print shapes then leave to dry. Cut out leaf shapes and arrange and stick on a piece of paper into a hedgehog shape with a cone shaped nose. DC enjoyed the leaf printing bit yesterday and are itching to get on with assembling the hedgehogs!
You're right, need to get out and about. Library closed on Thursdays, otherwise might just do a walk in the rain lol

paintshop
move furniture into centre of ds2's room
dw
shake out tablecloth
put a wash in

dcs to school on time, but routine needs to be completely restablished ie: making beds, waterbottle filling, getting dressed as we are ALL OVER THE PLACE (well I am) Dd is playing up again, ds1 is being grimy adolescent refusing to wash, ds2 is driving us mad talking about Hornby at 7.00am and trying to set up electrical circuits and transformers in our bedroom

Scatty Ds1's plaster comes off on 28th with just a week to spare before he goes on an Outward Bound Course with school, so I hope he'll be able to still do all the climbing stuff. Very simple break - going to doctor this afternoon with hm to assess.

Morning all

I am a bit this morning. Mother is compalining that when DH is home that she is supluss to requirements - very true

DH is parenting in a lax manner - more smoothies than I allow, more screen time than I allow - all making me out to be the bad mummy I love him and I tried to explain.

We have loads to do today, so will crack on

quick tidy in liveing room
shirt ironed for me and one for dp
wm unloaded reloaded and on
dry washing folded, wet washing hung up
ds taken for first day back at nursery - not a happy boy at all

grouchy let me know what the cookies are like, I have the book so may have a go at making if they are yummy. We are still eating the hob-nobs I made on Sunday.

hi everyone
still in the house, had to wait in for a delivery (my fab new phone!! Can't wait to get a minute to phone to activate it then play with it later!) now it's so windy I can't be bothered to struggle outside! Not readjusted to this auutumn/winter weather yet, can't believe we go about a normal life in this wind and rain in the winter!
Done sticking and made lovely hedgehogs, and some weird sand art pictures, dc playing with toys but DS is so violent and loud he is doing my head in! He is leading DD astray, she is getting violent too. Think it will be a good thing for him to be back to school to occupy him! Fed up of feeling like I am failing with him, he is really pushing the boundaries.
EHM can't believe you still haven't exchanged, things rarely go to plan with houses, it's maddening. Hope you can keep it all together
grouchy cookies sound good, have they already featured on a programme? Didn't see this week's yet. What is the book like, wolf - lots of meaty recipes? Will have to see if library has it.
TM don't worry - dh will be back to work next week and all will be well! Life's too short to worry about it sometimes.
better go and talk to DS

Glad Ed enjoying school Grouchy. How old are yours leo, school warm up sounds tricky! Is your ds 4 wendy? Mine was crazy at 4! (much saner now at 6).

I have been through the playroom like a dose of salts! Everything is in boxs so that they can find stuff. Just a small matter of keeping it that way though .

Ironing done
laundry done
boxs done
mission done

Baked pots for tea .

Need to phone the very zen man who left a very calm message about Tai Chi (will wait until scooby doo finished as will spoil the atmoshphere!).

Dough made and stashed in the freezer to use at a later date. Must divvy up the Rocky Road now
