Morning!

Good luck JKS.

Sorry to hear about the family trouble Ali.

Happy Birthday Peppa's DS!

I can't follow Flylady wholeheartedly as she insists on shoes in the house and that is heretical to me.
I do think having a 'morning routine' helps though. I always make the bed as soon as I get out of it. It looks tidy and then if I take some washing up I can sort it straightaway.
This time last year I got me and DS in a routine of being washed and dressed before we went downstairs. I'd need to get up before him to do that now.

Well, I did nearly everything on my list yesterday, plus cleaned under the sofa (dropped the remote behind it so had to move it!) and removed a slug from the kitchen. No idea how it got in.

Tried the wool wrap for the first time last night and it was fab! Looks much comfier than the normal wraps.

Enough of the essay!

Well, I've done well today, I hardly wrote anything on my list!

We went out for a walk and lunch then DS fell asleep and only just woke up! I'll get him some tea and that's the day gone.

Flame - lovely pics.

Ali - impressive set of dones there

Wasting - I think slugs come in to our kitchen through the catflap

Feeling a bit knackered myself today. Got 2 half days Wed and Thurs as DS going to school so will be able to get lots more mumsnetting napping jobs done.

Go to work done
Gestate done
Pick up DS done
Unpack Tesco delivery - cheeky things, they have made substitutions of all the 'on offer' items so I am ending up paying more than should do! But obv cannot return kettle chips or posh choc biccys.

Make lasagne
Check washing situation

Watch rest of Wuthering Heights

HMHB - Tesco make you pay more for substituted items!! I had a blitz round this morning, I was angry and channelled my rage!

Flame - the labelling of clothes doesn't sound very fun . You've done well getting so much of your previous list done

Wasting - I'm glad you liked the wool wrap. I am a total convert - thanks to Flame actually, was her recommendation on another thread that made me try one

List is all done for the day, we're about to eat. Just baked potatoes with beans and cheese. Yum.

Ooh I didn't do flylady shoes (maybe that is why I fell by the wayside in the end?).

Wool wraps are fabulous though. DS still wears his wool trousers to bed regardless of not wearing a nappy

I feel so much calmer with the house sorted, makes such a difference to my state of mind. Tomorrow is going to be hard, early start and then DH is in the office all day. I think it's going to rain as well so we'll be stuck inside. I cannot wait for DS to be old enough to do jigsaw puzzles - when does that happen??

Evening all

We have had a busy day and DS1 has had a great time, he bought a Ripstick stakeboard thing with his birthday moneym, it has just 2 trolly style wheels, he loves it but I think it looks a bit dangerous, boys will be boys

My front room looks like someone has emptied a skip load of toys on it, can't be bothered to tidy it tonight, DC will only get them out again tomorrow.

plum my DS1 and DS2 are looking forward to going back to school and I am looking forward to them going back!!

flame the pics are lovely and not a stretch mark in sight my tummy looks like a map of the London underground

I'll be back with an essay style list tomorrow!!

Happy birthday Peppa DS for yesterday.

Going with past experience, my stretch marks will appear in about 2 weeks. I am lucky though, they tend to fade away very quickly so aren't overly obvious when I'm not pregnant. Oh and the legs are the part of my body I have always liked until it comes to buying jeans/trousers... they are about an inch off "tall" but too long for standard.

Plan for the day is to hopefully lose DS to nursery all day (meant to be starting full days, but my letter went astray so not sure if he starts today or is still half day til next week).

TODAY

Dress children
Nursery drop
Post Orders
Post Books
Buy Shoes
Buy uniform??
Holiday homework
Ooh dress me
Bank
Cook proper dinner
Collect from nursery

Pre Baby

House:

Sort dining room
Sort bedroom - Started on the clothes sorting last night
Clothes in loft
Clothes out of loft
Keep on top of general house-straightness - Hoovered already!!! (DS got up early and poured crisps on the floor)
POST FRENCHMAN'S CREEK!!!!

I used wool during the day too. Can't have trousers too tight or it will wick through. Occasionally a slight damp spot where the car seat buckle presses too.

Ooh when I was sorting through "clothes to grow into" last night, I discovered that DS fits in the jeans he was given aaaaaaaaaaaages ago. I think he now has enough clothes to get through with winter without me doing any washing

I've suddenly realised I need to think about some warmer togs for DS. He's grown out of everything he was in before the summer. My Mum is busy knitting jumpers so we are fine there, but he needs some long sleeved tops and new trousers.

Wasting - I sometimes have DS in wool if we are just around the house for the day. Only problem I've found is that then the wrap gets grubby (I don't put trousers/shorts over it) and then all my wraps are dirty and I don't have one for bedtime.

Peppa - yay for DS3! DS only woke once last night, I think we are getting there slowly.

Went to the Drs. She has doubled my dose of ADs and referred me for some counselling.
