After an insurance claim for our hall carpet, we are lookiung to replace the hall, stairs, landing, lounge and diner with new carpet.
I want neutral shades and the carpet shop recommended the Stainfree Luxor carpet... its 100% polypropylene and thick pile.
Is bleach cleanable and guaranteed stain resistant and wear resistant for 10 years..
trouble is, we have always have 80 / 20 wool carpets before, and Im not sure about the 100% polypropylene...
Does anybody have this and what do you think??

Thanks for reading

I have one,it is fine but NOT stain resistant I was informed after buying the reason they say stain resistant is because you can literally scrub it with bleach thus removing 'most' stains.

Don't get me wrong it is good but not as great as they make out, only bonus is as I say you can scrub it with bleach and it makes no difference but if it does'nt get the stain out then it's stuck.

It is quite hard wearing but the softness seems to have gone but we have had it almost 3 years now, if I could go back I don't think I would pay the extra for it but if you can get it at the price of a half decent normal carpet go for it.
