Anyone tried dry cleaning in the tumble drier?

I saw the advert for Dr Beckmann dry cleaning sheets that go in the tumble dryer & are meant to dry clean, err, like a dry cleaners. As it takes me months to bag up the dirty dry clean only clothes, get them to the cleaners & then pick them up again, it sounded like a good idea. Anyone tried them, are they worth it?

Years ago (at least 10) I used to use SVIT which came with a plastic type bag in which you placed the garment with a sheet and put it in the dryer fr about 15 mins. It was fab - not good for really dirty stuff, although it came with a spray to help stains, but really great for a freshen between proper dry cleans. Not been able to find it since despite lots of looking which makes me think it may have been taken off the market for safety type issues. Hope this stuff is the same as if it is I,m off to get some - where did you see it?

I found something similar at my local supermarket a year ago and I thought it was brilliant to freshen dry clean clothes with, but haven't seen it since. No good at getting stains out I should think but definitely cheaper than dry cleaning.
