It doesn't have a bad smell or anything, but I've just spent the morning clearing it out, and noticed that all the clean sheets/towels smell kind of, well, cupboardy. So wondering what to use...

TIA

We used to use scented nappy sacks when we first got a chest of drawers/airing cupboard for DS.
Do they still do those tumble dryer sheet things?

Ooh that sounds good Iklboo - do you mean Bounce? I could shove them in between the folded towels. Thanks!

I have some fancy soap and scented candles stored in my linen cupboard along with some little bags filled with lavender.

However just got back from holiday and realised while I was away I had left a box of soap powder in the back of my car. Car now smells of lovely fresh linen so I'm thinkng of putting some in a bowl and keeping it in the linen cupboard.

I keep my nice smelly soaps in mine too. In fact I never use the soaps they just stay in the airing cupboard .

I cut lavender from the garden and hang it in the airing cupboard to dry - I put it in old tights so the bits don't everywhere. It also deters moths.
my mother used to put soap wrappers in drawers to make our underwear smell nice!
