Hello everyone, I am having some problems with damp in a flat that I have. Does anyone know of anyone who is reliable and reasonably priced who can help me with this. I live in Edinburgh. I have posted on a similar local board but got no replies so far Many thanks

I am not sure who can help you are you in rented /council if you are then your landlordshould sort it.

We had damp at the beginning of the year our landlord painted some stuff on it and it has gone we also bought a dehumidifer which has helped a lot .

thanks for your reply CWWM. The problem with the damp is in a property that we rent out, so we are the 'landpeople' really. We have already had someone who 'treated' the wall but unfortunately the problem has come back. Where did you get your dehumidifier from? I would definetely like to try that, cheers
