Dp went out for a few drinks last night, said he'd be back at about 10:30pm but I'm sure I woke around 2am and he wasn't here think he may be spending the rest of the day in bed

Well last night was nice. Good company but the curry was a bit disappointing, I think I'm too used to my default choice of curry house.

It was 1992 all the way for me. I had a short skirt, black tights and my new floral DMs...I'm mid 30s not 18 FFS I looked good tho!

Feeling kind os bleugh today.

Seem to be totally unable to sleep anymore despite increasing exhaustion, so another night with barely any sleep

morning all

this morning dp told me to stay in bed for hours because I had looked so ill for the last few days, he would look after ds and take him into town. Then he came and yelled at me for staying in bed

done - cleaned kitchen including fronts of wm, dw and oven and all small appliances, bin and sink

washing up done

milk bottles out

just doing meal plan and shopping list because I need a sit down and recover a bit before I move onto the living room. I am feeling quite unwell today [fed up emoticon]

prof I would leave it alone and enjoy the holiday, nobody ever died from having un-dusted shelves

Plans to go shopping have been shelved due to crap weather so DH decided it was a good opportunity to move the bedroom around

He's been really helpful, moving a big bed (King size) and sorting out the positioning of drawers etc. I'll be doing the housework bits to finish off. The new layout looks great TBH

Looks like I'm getting the duster/vac/vinegar spray out and giving it a good blitz

We are all soaking wet - we went into town and watched the fishing boats come and go adn watched the tide come in.

Had fish adn chips for lunch and decided to come home as DS2 was shivering despite it being quite warm - we were all wet though

galen this is letratag for iron on lables. I worked out it would be cheaper and easier than handwriting them, so now have to make some and iron them. Plus I can lable all my food jars - he he he

Boys are playing and DH is going to do some DIY. I may bake

Tort It's been falling in stair rods in West Yorks too, Bah It's August! where is summer (again). The family are on a trip to the coast on Tuesday and the plan is Good weather, beach and Bad weather, aquarium

Back from our holiday in Wooler (deepest Northumberland), great weather, lovely cottage, beaches, hills, rivers, picnics etc. It was fantastic .

Have quickly skimmed the thread. Sorry youre not well wolf and dh is being confusing! Galen hope it went ok in Ireland, you must be pretty exhausted! prof I have the same plan (ignore the houe until after the holidays ). Hi everyone else.

Morning Tea . Wow you have got the crafty bug! I have been inspired by the craft shops on holiday and another knitting book from the library, I'm knitting a hat at the mo.

I have decided to crack down on dds night time shennanigans over the holidays (6yrs without sleep is starting to get to me ), so stand by for a very tired Scatty until she gets the idea.

Been pureeing most of the morning, when the boys let me. They are both so tired but are refusing to sleep, so I have put them both infront of a dvd hoping they'll drift off, but everytime ds1 gets close, he gets up to annoy ds2.
Might need a stiff drink later!

I just cycled to the shops with DS1 to get a few essentials for lasagne tonight.
