How do you day to day clean solid wood worktops?

Currently I sweep them with a dustpan and brush but have discovered a wipe with a baby wipe makes them cleaner, I didn't realise they actually got so dirty - the wipe is usually pretty filthy afterwards blush Do you wipes yours down with a very slightly damp cloth, or does this ruin it? Is there anything I can get for day to day cleaning of it? How do you do yours? Thanks

MEthod wood cleaner. ALmond oil mostly I think, more like polish but, um oily. Smells gorgeous.

I use a nail brush that I keep especially for this job, and fairy household soap because my worktop said to only use traditional soap on it? Occasionally I have to sand out marks like rust (some cake tins left marks) but mine is oiled beech. Im really really bad at remembering to oil them every month...
