Is it just me or is anyone else completely fed up and sick and tired of doing the same cleaning/organising everyday????

My house is getting in a terrible state because for the last few weeks i have been going through a bored of it all stage! I wake up tired and dreading the drudgery and go to bed dreading the same in the morning! Am i alone here?

Mybox, i know....I had abit of a laundry blitz (a week ago now) and now i am back to where i startedblush

Just feeling tired and everything is too much effort, doesn't help though cos everything just gets even worse!

Everyone on here just seems so 'on top of it all' and full of energy when it comes to house work!!shock

you should all come and look at my house then you'd all feel much better grin
However much I do it always looks trashed 30 minutes later!

Have you tried looking at Flylady? There's a thread on here - it's a bit scarey and I think over the top, but it gives you routines to follow which do make a difference (although I too fall victim to the 'god, not again!' feeling.

Mine too fruitshoot, i think its cos of all the clutter i have...

Trouble is, emptying all the cupboards/rooms of clutter is such a big job it makes me knackered just thinking about it......

Another day of it tomorrow...hey ho! I do work aswell by the way so its not as if i sit here looking at the crap all day, problem is it is always waiting for me when i come homegrin

I am the same. Although i am home all day working, I feel as though i should od something when the kids are asleep but i really cnat be bothered I am sooooo sick and tired of it all. Its the same thing day in day out nothing changes. So no you are not on your own

same here, it all gets sooooo monotonous. I sometimes have a burst of energy and get loads done but it's the fact of having to do it every day.

there really is no escape from it and the longer you leave it the more difficult it will become i always feel like Marge Simpson in an epsode where there is a pile of clothes or something on they floor and she say something like well they can just clean that up themselves then she sighs and says who am i kidding?///try to give youself a small treat every day or have something to look forward to even if it just a good tv show or something and open all the windows!!!! if possible makes you feel so much better i think

I'm not the only one thenshock

My problem is, i probably have too many treats! I sit down to watch something on the tv, thinking i will iron or something later....and then i don't bother getting up again!

I haven't been too bad today, although it took a couple of pro plus blush to get me going....thats awful isn't it..

Now i am off to work for the night but i still haven't done any of those extra jobs that need doing.
