The car smells of sick. I'm not happy about it.

DD was complaining of a tummy ache on Monday morning. I assumed she had a bad case of Mondayitis and ignored her, told her to eat her breakfast and get dressed. She didn't eat much but got dressed and we went on our way to school.

Half way there she puked, in the car.

I have scrubbed it and aired it and febrezed it. It is still definitely a bit whiffy.

Do any of you have any tried and tested, failsafe ways of getting rid if the smell?

Bicarb? Cat litter? What really works?

Try 1001 cleaner. I always use it and it seems to get rid of the smell. DSD threw up on our landing and I had to clean it up whilst DP stood next to me retching and it's his daughter! Anyway I used 1001 and the next day it did not smell at all. I am never without it now.

Bicarb. Leave on area for a few days if you can and then hoover it up. Have also had success with bio washing powder. Add a few drops of essentail oil while it dries out.
