i havent tried it (yet)
I would like to have a cleaner home (clutter is not my problem)

but 10 emails a day?
a control diary?
post-its around the house?
a task for everyday?
no tasks for dh?

it feels a bit like im signing up to become a slave to household chores....

convince me...

if you need a shove to learn a routine then try it.
It does encourage you not to be a martyr (ie don't blame dh even if he hasn't done anything!)

I don't really fly anymore but i learned alot of stuff from her.

I don't do any of the emails or control diary but did start with baby steps, so shined my sink, de-cluttered the hotspots and realised that sorting a basket of clothes out does not take anywhere near as long as I thought it would

I do have a routine for cleaning and washing so that I do a bit every day and it helps to stop you having that overwhelmed feeling.

About 18 months ago because I had a clingy toddler plus a child starting school, I did that thing where you go into a room and because there are separate piles of stuff to sort you end up turning around and around not knowing where to start.

Now my house is relatively tidy and most importantly clean, everything has a place including all the stuff in my garage.

It just helped me focus. Agree with Isaidno, you can learn a lot in the process.
