It's lovely that you can do lots of visits EHM before school starts and the relentless timetable...I wish I had got out and about more before the school day/term took over.

Good news about second(?) viewing.

Lbb, good luck with sleep arrangements. I remember being obsessed with ds2 lunchtime nap being two hours not 45 mins, and determined to get him to stay asleep. It did work but I think but I think I did drive myself demented in process, possibly not the best policy.

Boiler dealt with I love this plumber because he rings me up and reminds ME.
And paid gas bill yesterday.

Now all the things I didn't do yesterday...what were they exactly..seem less pressing now

Good mid-morning all,

Still chasing tail but on the right track to have myself and house back in control when littlest sister arrives on Friday. She is fresh out of GCSE exams which she appears to have flunked and is generally in a bad place - so the parents are shipping her out to me! (good grief ). Will have to work on finding the right balance between giving her space and kicking her firmly but acccurately up the butt!

Ds at nursery this afternoon and dd and I off to her dancing class so I'm on to lunch soon - morning routine rather late as per usual!

welcome audley tmh took me a min or so to work out how coking fat had pood anywhere LOL

not impressed went back to garage and still shut at 10.30, so popped to town and bought some bits for holiday for me and few home bits. back to garage where it was open but only the young trainee bloke in not the one i arranged to see. apparently the one who was meant to be doing it is not in today- so why tell me to go in .

enquired about driving lesson for manual car, but it turns out once you've passed automatic, you have to retake test for manual so more complicated...will have to rethink plan (all so that I can drive parents' car as and when..)

Sagacious - school fetes are v.v.hard work - good for you. TPT, I'm sure you are involved in one too. I help on day (from dawn to dusk it feels like, but am so cr*p at organization that luckily no-one asks me to help plan it) Maybe next year I'll be more directed.

swan I am trying to do visits so ellie doesn't miss her preschool sessions. she missed last week as we where in manchester at my sister's. To be far the PS don't mind & I am dreading the strictness of school once it arrives. Couple who came back last night made several offers on Friday & we finally agreed a figure. they are getting married in august & want to move in by beg of sept. fingers crossed this all goes through this time.
