Hmm yes think I overdid being relaxed yesterday, today.
Still [averts eyes], need to read my book for bookclub, about hardworking american pioneers breaking the sod.

Dh for some reason has taken it into his head to strew lawn with prunings, and keeps asking angrily for different rusty implements which cannot be located, from under the three defunct paddling pools in shed.

morning routine.(slight chaos due to lack of power last nigh, so no Dw/WM/TD run)
school drop off
shops for bag for Ds for this afternoon
dinner in slow cooker (Turkey casserole)

To do:
DD4 to nursery early with packed lunch
collect ds1 from school at same time
Ds1 to new secondary school for induction afternoon.(other side of town)
Back to collect other Dc from school

Also really need to mop floors, washing sort, change our bed.....

And have 6 passport forms to fill in, then get witnessed...then send of....

oh well best crack on... at least powers back, was off till 5am but I did have an early night with added bonus

I got soaking wet - mother slept in.
Shopping was an ordeal as ususal, made worse by the shop having a power cut and every price having to be manually input

Only just got back intime to collect DS1 from preschool and it was hailstoning.

We got soaked to underwear

my new dresser has arrived, slightly late but never mind. i have spent the past hour sanding it down, now gonna have early lunch and then go out and get the rest of the bits i need to make it lovely again and pop in morrisons to get the bits and bobs of food i need for dinner while i am out.

Galen your baby going to big school. I have been chatting to our nursery manager about dd finishing nursery (5 1/2 years I've been going to that nursery) I nearly cried . I told her I'd have another baby for them lol.

I'm on one of my downers atm, noting to worry about just probably tired and overeating are getting me down. You sound like a very good friend, Prof
DH is fitting a skirting board in the kitchen - we are slowly trying to get it sorted.
Had a lovely day - soft play and had a natter with a friend, then out to local Nat Trust with SIL and dc - lovely weather and nice and chilled out. Good cake in tea room
Otherwise need to make dinner now for me and dh, children are asleep. May pour a vodka and coke to cheer myself up and go in the sun in the garden!!
