how often do you change ur kids beds???

I only change my kids beds when they lose that fresh smell/feeling. I don't have a regular set pattern for doing it and we are away at least one or two weekends a month. Sometimes it can be 3 weeks, even 4 between changes.

My mum strips her bed religously every week and i'm sure she'd be horrified if she thought i wasn't changing the kids as often.

i'd be interested how often other people change their kids beds. (kids are pre school btw.)

I change my dc's beds weekly (only very occasionally leave it longer than that) but don't change my bedding anywhere near that often

My bed def needs changing more than the kids. I'm in their bfing all night, leaky boobs, posseting baby, sweaty 17 stone man beside me..need i go on.

The kids beds smell fresh much longer. I go on my nose, if i can still smell the washing powder its fine, if not it needs a change.

I don't know how people manage to stick to a certain day to change the beds. My mum does it every sunday, she also cleans her hoover then too so she can hoover mattress. I just don't have time for this every week and every week different in our house. I also look at how much washing needing done before i strip a bed so don't get overwhelmed trying to see the bottom of laundry basket!

All beds get changed once a week. It might go a day or two longer if I'm busy but not often.

change the pillowcase and bottom sheet every 2 weeks or if grotty but longer between washes for duvet cover as my DS always wears pj's and kicks the duvet off anyway.

addicted - TWICE a week?! What are your kids doing in bed? And aren't you constantly surrounded by drying/waiting to be ironed bed linen?!

Many years ago when I had an au pair to help me with things like that, they got changed every week, but now it's 2 weeks minimum!

Once a week, sometimes once a fortnight for ds1's bed. Whenever I remember really.

Ds2's cot sheets are changed every 2/3 days due to the sheer volume of snot that gets on them at night.

Every sunday all the bed sheets get done.

Ours is always stinky by then.
DS1 (age 3) has a Blankie he sucks so his gets damp and stinky, I often change his pillowcase midweek as well.
DTs (17 months) invariably get snot and dribble on theirs.
