How do I get tomato pasta sauce out of baby clothes?

Normally I would just give them up for lost but this was an expensive outfit (bought by grandma) and she's only worn it once! Is pale pink cotton, have washed it with non-bio stuff once and stains are still there. Is there anything I can do?

Sunlight.

Tends to bleach out most tomato stains. Less good with carrot.

Use a mixture of fairy liquid and washing powder rubbed together and then wash normaly and then as Flame says dry on the washing line in direct sunlight and they should fade out.

Hang it in the sunshine.

Hang it out directly facing the sun for a day, if it is stubborn, maybe 2 days. Seriously, its the only thing I found that worked for all DDs clothes. Sunlight is a natural bleach.

You are very, very clever ladies. All traces of tomato gone after half a day in the sun. Tried it on her (stupidly bought) white cardigan and t shirts with similar stains and also gone!

Thanks again x
