Galen, remember you are doing an amazing job just to get them dressed, fed and to bed let alone the bits in between.

Morning all

Jas thanks for the thread, hope you get rid of the maggots. I'm worried we're going to get them too with the fortnightly collection and other people leaving their bin bags on top of the dustbin 'shed'.
TMH thanks for your inspiring list. I'm glad we're in the kitchen this week we're having a new kitchen floor laid Thursdat pm
Done:
Medication taken!!
Washing in t/d
Washing up adn sink shined
Dd to school
Defrosting freezer.

Tidied bad cupboards last week - they couldn't wait
Galen agree with swan aim for feed, wash and get to school FLYing can wait till Dp is back. Then you can feel very pleased with any extras you do.

I've got to go and hoover the defrosted water fro mthe freezer and then take it easy today. I'm still feeling abit wobbly from yesterday's fit (Forgot my epilepsy tablets yesterday morning).
Hope everyone has a good morning.

Morning all.
I might try and do the right zone this week! Have less than 2 weeks to get tidy before DD1's party.

Kids rooms were done Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully can fit a few of DD's toys from downstairs, into their room.

Wm is on.Will hang out once finished.

Now, do i start with kitchen or putting toys in rooms?

Kitchen tort!

I've had 1 hr 15 mins at home and then I have to leave to pick up ds again. I've shopped, put away, and cleaned the bin. Thankfully our council is doing weekly collections in the summer, starting next week.

I need to

finish the kitchen
put away yesterdays washing
dry todays washing
empty d/w
tidy dining room
hoover downstairs
clean bathroom
2 school runs (why can't the dds chose clubs on the same day to save me going up twice? Grr.)

Stopping now incase Mum skypes a bit early.

Will see what time i have after that to do a bit more.

Afternoon all.
Totally defeated here today

Depression seems to be looming large here, and horrible meds making me feel totally cr*p!
Got all up, dressed and breakfasted and ready for school ....and yep you guessed it damn car wouldnt start AGAIN!!!Couldnt get DC to school. Cue same routine as yesterday - hysterical DD3 cause she didnt want to miss show and tell, waiting for rescue people...etc...
Car started - off for GP app with all 6 DC. GP TOTAALY useless, unable to give me any advice re worsening depression or problems with meds. Did write me out anothe script though so I can go to diff chemist for diss brand. He did make me an app with mantal health practitioner at surgery...but sadly not till June 10th....sigh...
Went to Halfords for new battery...£130 BUM (stupid importad expensive Toyota gggrrr) but they had toorder it so have to go back at 3pm to get it fitted.
In fit of total desperation I rang Homestart to fine out about a volunteer for a bit to help me out.Feeling like a tooatlly useless mum that cant cope just now Broke down in tears on phone to them They were lovely though and sent round lovely person straight away chatted to her for ages and feel much better. they are going to hopefully find me a volunteer for a bit to help me get back on top of stupid PND

Other than that everything fine LOL
On the positive side I have casserole in fridge for tea, have arranged for friend to pick up DS1 to take him fencing tonight (her DS goes too)
DD's playingnicely, DS2 napped well and is in a good mood!
So could be worse I spose.

Right sorry for self pittying moan. Will I'm sure be back on track soon - seem to have been temporarily de-railed, VERY limited FLYing here this week.
Tomorrow will feel I've achieved if I just manage to get DC to school LOL

Hope everyone else is doing better than me (wouldnt be hard!)

Galen - I agree with whoever said you should aim low while on your own and struggling. If everyone is washed and fed, and educated, you've done well. Anything else is a bonus.
Glad the homestart people could help. I do hope a different pharmacist can give you the brand of ads you are used to. I don't know what is different abut other brands, but lots of people seem to notice a change, so there must be something.

Ds did really well using the toilet at nursery this am, so I let him stay nappy free when we gt home.....3 wees on the sofa and one on the floor so far (plus 3 in the potty).

well done on arranging for friend to help with fencing club.
you are not being self-pitying.
Car should be shot for its appalling behaviour.
Well done for ringing Homestart.
If you kept dcs at home tomorrow and didn't have to do the whole school run palaver do you think it would help? I'm sure school would understand with FIL situation?
I hope dd4 and ds2 give you lots of hugs today.
The children are bound to feel a bit on edge with everything - just do anything to make life easier, sweeties, cbeebies, even paper plates (if you have any) send a note in with homework saying you couldn't do it (who cares)
And I hope battery doesn't drive you to further despair, and gets fitted succesfully. That would take me ALL DAY to organise.
And if you go on feeling this bad Ring GP and insist he helps you sooner than June 10th. Only you know how bad you feel.

galen I wanted to say well done you. It took me ages to pluck up the courage to ring homestart and our lady helper is wonderful and becoming a firm family friend. She is an retired primary teacher and just so calm - she really calms the boys down and I am so blessed with her help.

Also if things are really bad regarding the depression contact your local mental health crisis team - they can make the GP move things along much quicker.

Unfortunatly depression is becoming my constant companion and I am begining to realise this and recognise its reapearance before I become completly invisable in its ever present shaddow. It will always walk with me though life, but I refuse to let it interfere in my childrens life - that is my motivating factor.

I havent read anything else, just saw galens post and had to respond.

I am off to do more zone cleaning before taking DS2 to the GP's - He has conjunctivistis

Galen Sorry you are struggling at the moment. Hope the car gets sorted and your meds. Good on you for getting help though.

Spoke to my mum for nearly 2 hours! Now it is time to pick kids up from school. At least half of the kitchen looks nice.

Didn't get the washing out. Might TD it later or see what tomorrows forecast is.
