hello Nabster - I'm sure everyone else will be over here soon - there's about 940 posts on the old one so not long until it's full.

Basically we just post over daily lists and put a "done" next to each job as it's done. We have an "unofficial" rule that you're not allowed to complete more than 3 lists a week or else you're out .

Oh and "obvious" things such as

"cook dinner", "school run" "eat lunch" all count as things to go on the lists

Alice left you a wee message on other thread

Thanks needed a little rant as sometimes I do feel like a bad daughter etc but when I go over all the htings that have happened I know I'm not too bad

Plum I often feel with my mum that she needs to be noticed, and i don't think it's particularly on purpose but she always wants to be centre of attention. Maybe your Dad is starting to feel a bit out of control with you all having your own lives and is worried that he will fade into the background. Therefore feels he has to make a scene so he is noticed and that makes him feel important - kind of like a toddler! Sorry if that sounds like bollocks, its just the picture that is coming across

Report
PlumBumMum · 26/03/2009 17:34

Thats exactly how he carries on, but unfortanately I think it goes way before I even had a boyfriend never mind a family as you say once you have your own family you realise there is only so much crap you are prepared to take
