Ds' lunchbox is really stinky. Always wash it, have soaked it, anti bac sprayed it - but still the stink remains.

Any ideas how to get rid of it?

Try soaking with boiling water and a couple of teaspoons of Bicarbonate of soda?

Second Bicarb of soda - is there anything in a crevice you can't reach ?

Thanks - will pop the kettle on now.

Have scrubbed it throughout, so don't think anything is stuck in there (even turned it inside out!)

It was a cheapo power ranger thing with foam inside so it is probably quietly rotting inside the lining or something. But will ds be parted from it.....oh no!

Vile thing....thanks again

I only buy tin lunches boxes now. They are easy to keep clean and don't smell.

I have put mine in the washing machine before and they come out fine. I don't like tin ones as they don't keep the food cool in the summer.
