i'm starting to get the itch to clean the house from top to bottom.

when preg. with dc1 i used ecover products...felt very saintly but really the house was quite clean anyway.

with dc2 ecover wasn't really up to the job and used lots of soda crystals in water.

this time round i need some good stuff but not too fumey.

need lots of grease cutter stuff and i want to do things like clean skirting and all the doors etc.

what do you swear by please?? and also do you use cloths or sponges??

Orange oil based cleaners are great for cutting grease, but you can get eco-friendly versions. Try natural collection as they sell the stuff mail order - www.naturalcollection.com/natcolnew/searchresults.aspx?search=orange should give you a fair selection to choose from!

For kitchens, I swear by M&S's lavender kitchen spray from their natural range. It even gets all the gunk off my cooker - just spray on, leave for 2 mins, and wipe off! Plus it smells nice, unlike the sickly 'pine' smell you get with most kitchen cleaners.
