Uselessness has descended, tho' feeling still positive. DS1 now at home, a great relief as he is so tired and he may now revert to his sunny self.
Dh has done every bit of work this morning so far.
But I have unloaded dishwasher and almost put away. And cleared breakfast rather badly.
And DS1 has made his bed and put plates in sink.

NOW GOALS FOR THIS MORNING
Get dressed properly find some tights
make rest of beds
hang up damp towels
Load wm

THEN
First watch Dr Who with DS1 who finds it too frightening by himself
nip living room mess in bud
Make playroom as neat as a new pin

fish pie for supper prepare
bake with ds1 (something?)

go to violin shop with ds1 and repair dd's broken bridge (hope this is easy...)

Computer research with ds1
more homework with ds1
piano playaround with ds1

Boxroom for ten mins
Defrost something in freezer and prepare weekend casserole
mud in hall sweep

Yes it is raining here. But I am looking forward to today now!!

Been to post office & mini moovers. Waiting for DW repair man to arrive with new part. Which will cost £110 including installation. Much cheaper than a new dw.

We all agree that Mad is just all round fabby Mum and FlyMum to all of us.

Had a nap on sofa with DD. Vomit 4 times in night, nothing yet this morning, just had juice to drink. Have resorted to chocolate already to keep me going (I know it won't work and I should eat a banana or something!)
One load of washing finished, another 3 or 4 to go!
DH taking afternoon off work as a hol to take DS to Music preschool class (usually DD goes to grandparents whilst I take him, but they are all on hols together!) so will get a bit of respite this afternoon.
Need to go and get DD dressed to pick up DS from nursery now.
You lot talking about parcels has made me realise I've forgotten a friend's DS's birthday RATS

ihave done

sort dry washing
ironing
tidy

sort fridge
wash up
dust
s&s bathroom
mission

still need to do
i need to take some things to the charity shop
post a parcel
take rubbish out

i have decluttered for 30 mins in daughters end of the bedroom, not that it looks like it- its gonna be slow going getting that sorted. will see if i can find another 15mins later in there before bed.
will take parcel to dinky dancers with me to see if i get a chance to post on the way home.
think the charity shop will have to wait,
i also need to get a present for dd's friend she has a party tomorrow.
perhaps i can do charity shop in the morning. dd is going to her dads so will be easier to go then than when she is with me.

tomorrow is giong to be a pita to be honest.
dd dad wont take her to the party and i dont want her to miss out so, he going to pick her up in morning. then lunch time i need to drop ds off to his dads, then pick dd up to take her to party then take her back to her dads afterwards.
i'm worried its going to be unsettling for her, but he wont take her and its on of her best friends at nursery's birthday so really dont want her to miss it

Morning ALL

Big Grouchy waves to everyone

Thanks for the tread Mad

Hope your OK Wendy

Big push this morning. Morning routines and I had to clear up from last nights tea, then get Ed to school and attend the dance class. I'm not needed this afternoon so I can catch up on stuff.

Looked in the mirror this morning and looked like I'd been in a Tim Burton film all night! Hair everywhere!

Poor Ed had a complete meltdown all the way to school. Teddy denial, he just wanted to hug him it seems and Teddy waving from the window did not solve it. He didn't stop the crying noise until he saw his teacher. Poor lad

Hang on, I'm prattling again

Taking Ed to Rugby training this evening. Then it's Pizza time Better make the dough

See you all later

If it's any comfort, dylsmum, dh hates taking our kids to parties where he has to stay. Just thinking about the to-ing and fro-ing makes one tired tho'.

DONE.
Finally after happy Dr Who watching (feel inspired now to tell DS1 more about Dickens who was in this old episode - Eccelston acting)
I have changed duvet covers on kids' beds (did sheets on Tues I think and trying to get back to a Friday changeover not Monday)
Put wash on
s & s bathrooms cleaned loo floor and skirtings
put floating items of clothing away
sorted out bath towels and trying to keep coloured coded so that we don't use each others. Red for kids, Blue for Dh and white for me.
washed bathmat
Rounded up all dd's hairslides and put in her hairslide tin
Sorted out toothpaste and bath toys and allocated boxes

Now:
Soft toys away in playroom 5 mins
Walk to violin shop with ds1 and back 3/4 hour
Lunch cream cheese sandwiches and tomato
pick up cream cheese on way home.

Wendy, hope you get through the day. It's nice that your dh can help today.

EHM · 23/01/2009 12:04

dylsmum i am sure dd will be fine with the excitement of going & being at the party. she probably won't even bit a bit phased.
grpucy i look like bart simpson most morning.

Right DW is fixed Yipieeeeeeeeeee!

have hour to decide farm or play date here. off to make kunch for me & dd.

Afternoon all!

wendy hope DD is now on the mend

DM sounds like a busy day tomorrow - hope it goes smoothly

swan hope DS cheers up !

mad you certainly do sound like a fabby mum - well done with homestart!

everyoneelase hi - brain not really working so sorry if I missed anything!

So after weds great night's sleep, DS 2 and DD4 conspired to pay me back last night! I was up till 1.30 with DS2 who is teething, and has cold and is generally sad with it all, Then just as we he had gone off DD4 starts up. Not sure what was wrong with her. Spent several hours shouting various requests periodically! "mommy I need cup of milk" ( OK, not ideal at 2.30 - but OK) "Daddy I need a biscuit" (erm not at 3.00 am you don't!) "mommy I need my slippers ( why for heavens sake. It's 4 am and your feet are warm and cosy IN BED!!)

So DD4 is exhausted and being a nightmare now today. I too am exhausted but hoping to get motivated any minute!

Have just got back from shopping. Got Ds's last minute stuff for camping ( including thermal vests LOL)
Lunch done - half cleared!
Need to:
Finish clearing lunch
tidy round
Quick dust
Hoover ( but hoover playing up so need to fix it first!)
Make sponge pudding for tonight
Ought to hoover out car again too, but too wet and windy - and hoover too tempremental!
Ought to do quick floor mop too but can see that not happening!
Clean washing away....etc...

hmm really need to get motivated. Someone camoe and tell me to get on with it instead of sitting here drinking tea!

BBL!
