my bathroom is driving me nutty!!!!

it has a peach suite (with no panel on the side of the bath yet as ours doesn't fit it & landlords agent was meant to be sorting getting a new one ), white tiles up to half way up, horrid boards to cover plastic piping; magnolia walls & very very scuffed laminate flooring of the super duper cheap variety by the looks of it!

Any ideas what I could do with it (barring rip out & start again as I don't want to spend that kind of cash on someone else's house) to make it not so bloody awful, horrible, minging???

Can you ask the landlord to refurbish it? It sounds vile.

it's taken him 5 weeks to sort getting a plug socket put in for the washer so I dread to think how long that would actually take!

May be worth a mention though & see what's said in response

Any other suggestions as I'm coming up with nothing

We painted the wall part of our bathroom and the ceiling for an extremely low cost and IT CHANGED OUR LIVES.

Replace the laminate with some new cheap laminate or lino?

Paint it?

what if you ask if you can revamp it and he pay some/all of the costs?? is that a feasable ask with your landlord?

psycho, that's probably more like it as he's a bit useless at getting stuff done when it needs doing without constant badgering . . . am off to see him tomorrow anyways so can't hurt to ask.

MIL reckons the quid shop have some self adhesive floor tiles in which may look ok in there so am off for a wander tomorrow & find some paint charts.

saw him this afternoon . . . splitting the cost is a no go, money for repairs has run out so we're stuck

Back to the drawing board!
